The story of this games centers on the interstellar war between 26th century humanity, led by the United Nations Space Command, and a collection of alien races known as the Covenant. The player assumes the role of the Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier, as he wages war in defense of humanity, assisted by human Marines as well as allied alien Elites led by the Arbiter. The game features vehicles, weapons, and gameplay not present in previous titles of the series.

These peripherals are used to simulate the playing of rock music by hitting scrolling notes on-screen.

Call of Duty 4 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows. The story is set in a fictional near-future war between the United States, United Kingdom, and Russian Loyalists against Russian Ultranationalists and Middle Eastern rebels, and features real-world weapons and vehicles. It received almost universal praise, winning multiple awards at gaming websites, and being complimented on its storyline, visual elements, realism, and quality of its multiplayer gameplay.

The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is the fourteenth game in Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda series. It is an institution in gaming. The story of the game is Link and Tetra, his pirate friend, are whisked away to another watery world when they stumble upon an abandoned ship. Soon enough, Tetra is held captive by an unspeakable evil while Link is forced to make his way around the world, visiting dungeons and vanquishing foes, in order to save her. It features 3D cel-shaded graphics with an overhead camera perspective, and uses several features of the DS for game controls, including the Touch Screen and microphone.

Crackdown is a free-form urban action video game. It is exclusively for the Xbox 360 console. In this game, the player takes the role of a cybernetically enhanced Agent whose job is to defeat three main crime lords and their underlying organizations within the near-future fictional Pacific City, with the player free to select the approach to complete this task or the various side missions. It features a cooperative play mode for two players over Xbox Live. This game won many awards for its innovative game play.

BioShock is a first-person shooter video game by 2K Boston/2K Australia designed by Ken Levine. The game is available for the Windows and the Xbox 360 video game console. This game places the player in the role of a plane crash survivor named Jack, who must explore the underwater Objectivist-dystopian city of Rapture, and survive attacks by the mutated beings and mechanical drones that populate it. It is a perfect balance of action and exploration and a totally customizable combat system that can be described as nothing less than video game rapture.

Mass Effect is an action role-playing game. It is developed by BioWare for Microsoft Windows and Xbox 360. The game takes place in the year 2183, with the player assuming the role of an elite human soldier named Commander Shepard, set out to explore a vast universe on his or her ship, the SSV Normandy. It is the first in a trilogy of games with an overarching story.

Crysis is a science fiction first-person shooter computer game. It is developed by German video game developer Crytek and published by Electronic Arts. It is the first game of a planned trilogy. It is based in a fictional future where an ancient alien spacecraft has been discovered beneath the Earth on an island near the coast of China.
